Where has your info been?
A telltale sign of progress seems to be new opportunities and lost jobs. Out with the old and in with the new. Print media is doing all it can to hold on for dear life despite the explosion of cheap or even free media that is proliferated on the Internet. Newspapers and magazines have hosted some of the greatest informative writing since their inception. Pillars of theory and entertainment published with utter seriousness and passion regarding their professions in the print media. A sense of nostalgia and dear attachment comes associated with the mediums of print media, yet there is a clear slipping in their hold of the way information is presented to the masses. What is wrong with this? Is there something intrinsically sad and telling about the weakening of print media? Do we seek out information for informations sake or do we seek out information to be informed? The sources of our information must be considered closely. Acquiring thoughts and opinions from anyone who’s willing to impart to you what they’re thinking about can be a good way of getting an idea of what certain people believe. But taking second hand opinions can be dangerous and deceiving. Where is the credibility and validity in what is being said and written? How does one rank the purity or intent of certain sources of information?
